SHELF LIFE
Caviar is very perishable. Upon arrival, OPEN the package, remove the caviar, and place the can(s) in the fridge. Do not put the entire unopened package in the fridge. The recommended temperature for storing caviar is 28°F (-2.2°C) to 32°F (0°C). We recommend consuming caviar within 3 weeks of purchasing. Most household refrigerators won't reach this temperature, so place the caviar in the coldest part, which is the very bottom drawer. Do not keep caviar in the freezer. This will destroy its delicate texture.
